MEMBERSHIPS

At Crossfit Portishead the first step on your fitness journey with us is the 4 week introduction course.

The intro course comprises of 1 session per week and runs on a monthly basis commencing on the first Saturday of every month at 8:00am (see class timetable).

During the eight classes you will get to grips with some of the key movements associated with crossfit. These movements include some you may already be familiar with such as Squats, Deadlifts and Pressing and also some which may be totally new to you. The more unfamiliar movements include Kipping Pull ups, Handstand Press-ups and Olympic lifting and whilst some of these may be challenging at first our expert coaches will ensure you have all the support you need to begin to master the techniques.

Our intro course is essential for all new members, regardless of previous experience because as well as being an opportunity for new members to learn the key techniques the course also allows people to familiarise themselves with our team, our facility and become part of our community.
